Mama Honey's House is a community-centered nonprofit rooted in legacy, love, and restoration. Inspired by the life and spirit of Mama Honey — a woman who raised eight children, built furniture with her own hands, and nurtured not only her family but her entire community — the organization was created to continue that same spirit of care and support for future generations.
Our mission is to create safe, empowering, and intergenerational spaces where individuals and families can heal, grow, learn, and thrive. Through community programming, youth-centered initiatives, mentorship, wellness support, educational resources, and neighborhood engagement, Mama Honey’s House is committed to strengthening the village one family at a time.
We believe true community care goes beyond moments of crisis. It is about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected every day. Through partnerships, outreach, and intentional programming, Mama Honey’s House continues the legacy of compassion, resilience, and service that Mama Honey embodied throughout her life.
